Client: Jessie Mayo and Family
One unique project that I've been working on this year is formatting and producing a memoir for a father to share with his descendents and relatives. Jessie Mayo is the patriarch of a large and loving family consisting of his wife, children, grandchildren, siblings and more. Through their desire to cherish and preserve the stories of his life, they organized an interview of him sharing these stories. I used the transcript of that interview to create a memoir of his life, which was exclusively shared with his family at their most recent family reunion.

Client: Dr. Rachel Winston
During the weeks leading up to the 2025 local elections for the city of Florence, I helped Dr. Rachel Winston craft a campaign focused entirely on social media for her re-election efforts as a Board of Education representative.
Project Scope: First, I met with Dr. Winston to discuss messaging and philosophy integral to her campaign. After that, I presented a weekly social media plan to her, reflecting two weeks of campaigning that included videos, flyers, and targeted captions.
Project Impact: The campaign resulted in increased reach and engagement as compared to posts made before launching the plan. Highlights included a video that received over 4,000 views, plus a 37% increase in engagement from social media followers.
Since then, I've worked further with Dr. Winston to create new content and site conversion, so that her page reflects her work as an educator, speaker, and public figure.

During an internship in the summer of 2018, I worked with Dr. Jennifer Pate at the University of North Alabama to digitize and archive back issues of Light & Shadows, an award-winning literary art magazine produced by UNA's English Department since 1956. Digital archives are now available for public viewing and download as a result of the assistance I provided.
